ASRM Announces 2020 Virtual Run for Reproductive Health
Proceeds to Benefit Research Institute
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) is pleased to announce the return of its annual run, benefiting research in Reproductive Health. Join us October 1-15, 2020 and become part of an elite group of dedicated members, attendees, family and friends participating in the 2020 Virtual Run/Bike for Reproductive Health.
ASRM will hold the virtual Run/Bike event for Reproductive Health in conjunction with its 2020 Virtual Scientific Congress & Expo. Because the event is virtual – participants can walk, run, or bike from any location they choose and complete their goals between October 1st and 15th.
All proceeds from the 2020 Virtual Run/Bike event will benefit the ASRM Research Institute, a virtual facility established to guide a robust research agenda and coordinate its evolution as new information and research needs arise in the field of reproductive medicine. The foundation of the Institute is for RFA-based research funding.
The ASRM Research Institute supports and develops the next generation of physician scientists, basic researchers, and clinical investigators in reproductive medicine so advances in reproductive medicine are sustained and continue. ASRM will centralize and coordinate its reproductive research agenda in consideration and coordination with other programs, such as the NIH.
The virtual run/bike event can be completed at a location of choice – on the road, trail, treadmill or Peloton. The event is intended as a fun activity and will not be professionally timed. Participants can now register for the event, select activity, and complete goals between October 1st and 15th. They may choose to register as an Individual participant or join/form a team. Top fundraisers in the individual and team categories will be announced at the ASRM 2020 Virtual Gala on October 16, 2020.
