#ASRM2020: Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!

With #ASRM2020 less than three weeks away, we are getting excited about this dynamic and engaging event, and we hope you are too!

As always, with so much to experience, so much to learn and so many colleagues and friends to meet, we know you have questions. Let us answer those!

In what time zone is the virtual Congress schedule? All virtual Congress events are in Eastern Daylight Time.

What sessions are part of the ASRM 2020 Virtual Congress registration? All plenary/lectures, symposia, interactive and clinical sessions, as well as roundtables, Expert Encounters, the virtual expo hall, industry-sponsored education (non-CME), and the networking lounge are part of the Virtual Congress registration.

How will I access/attend the Virtual Congress? After you have registered, you will receive an email from our registration partner Spargo with a link to the virtual site and your confirmation number, which will provide access to log in and creating a profile. You also can go to the Virtual Congress site by clicking the VIRTUAL CONGRESS tab in the top navigation menu of www.ASRMCongress.org.

Will I need any special equipment or software to participate in the ASRM 2020 Virtual Congress? If you are equipped for a Zoom call, then you have everything you need for the Virtual Congress: a desktop computer, an internet connection, speakers/headphones, a microphone, and a webcam. If you are participating in the Virtual Quest during the meeting, you’ll need to use your smartphone or tablet in addition to your desktop.

Once I register and the Virtual Congress begins, how long will I have access to the content of the Virtual Congress? The ASRM 2020 Virtual Congress & Expo content will be available on-demand through December 31, 2020.

How do I get CME/CE credits? Register for the Scientific Congress and/or Postgraduate courses, log into the Virtual Congress site, and attend sessions that award CME/CE credits. After attending a CME/CE session, select the course/session attended, complete and submit the evaluation form. Complete the overall Congress evaluation (one time only) and submit the form. Choose your certificate type, download/print the certificate. (You must have completed at least one course/session evaluation and the overall evaluation to download/print a certificate.) The final date to claim credit is December 31, 2020.

Will there be any live parts of the Virtual Congress? Yes! The symposia, interactive sessions, oral abstract sessions, poster sessions, clinical sessions, and industry sponsored education (non-CME) will all have a LIVE Q&A at the end of their presentations. We also have live virtual chats for Roundtables and Expert Encounters. Exhibitors will have live virtual chats with attendees (specific hours of availability listed on the exhibitor page in the Virtual Expo Hall). And the Networking Lounge is open daily during the Virtual Congress scheduled hours to interact live with other attendees.

Will there be a way for me to contact other attendees during the Virtual Congress? Yes! You will be able to view the profiles of other attendees and send them emails, messages, or ask them to meet with you during the Virtual Congress. We will also have a Networking Lounge open each day for impromptu virtual chats!

And more! These are just a few of the questions we have received. To see a full list of questions and answers about #ASRM2020, click here or visit our Congress website, www.ASRMCongress.org.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
